Revolt motors finally unveiled its India's first fully electric motorcycle, RV400. In fact, when the delivery starts in next month, then it will become the first electric motorcycle to be sold in India. There is no word on the price yet, but we expect that it will cost around Rs. 1 lakh (on-road). At this price, the RV400 will be a part of a deal, given that it is full of features.

One can pre-book motorcycles through the company's website for a token amount of Rs 1,000 from starting June 25. Construction of RV 400 electric motorcycle will be done in the production facility of Revolt in Manesar, Haryana. Spread over 1 lakh sq ft, the manufacturing plant's annual production capacity is 1.2 million units.

In terms of features, the revolt RV 400 is ahead of its margins with LED headlamps and fully digital instrument cluster, there is an AI-based technology that improves battery performance according to the riding style.

The 'artificial intelligence' system explains the real-time battery consumption, range, distance travel, count of time and much more. It receives Bluetooth connectivity and the buyer can start a motorcycle remotely through its smartphone! The bike will also support voice commands to start the motor.

Apart from this, to ensure that RV400 is a die-hard fan of motorbikes running petrol, Revolt has equipped it with the option of four artificial exhaust notes. Whether the electric motorcycle will receive additional exhaust notes in the future through OTA updates.

The revolt has revealed that RV 400 has received an ARAI-certified range of 156 km. The company said that the top speed is capped at 85kmph. The power to stop either comes from the disc brake in the end. On the front of the electric bike, there is a reverse fork and a monoculture behind. It is available in two color options, Rebel Red and Cosmic Black.

Features to look on revolt RV 400

Modern battery solutions to deal with issues of concern

We already knew that the motorcycle has an AAI-certified range figure of 156 km. However, to make sure that your RV 400 is always ready when it needs to take juice, Revolt has planned some clever solutions. First of all, it receives battery swapping technology. In essence, this is similar to the technique found on 22Kymco iFlow, but the battery is very large (weight 18kgs!), Which helps in achieving claimed range figures.

The revolt will install the battery swapping station where you can go and swap your dry cell for a fresh one. Swapping will include some monetary fees which we will learn later.

Ease of use does not stop here because revolt will also bring the fully charged battery to your desired location at your convenient time. In addition, regular charging activities can be done by connecting the cord to motorcycles or charging the battery unit in the perimeter of your home.

AI-based education to optimize performance

Most electric two-wheelers today claim to have features related to artificial intelligence. what does this mean? Ok, basically, the bike computer learns your ride style and various other parameters to create a riding pattern. If you are riding it in a negative way or something is going wrong in the riding process, it will help you to better alert the bike.

Premium component assistant

As far as the mechanical elements on the motorcycle are concerned, the revolt RV 400 has some very premium components. It receives a monoculture unit with a USD fork and aluminum swing. And as you can already see, this alloy rims and disc brakes get at both ends. Apart from CBS, revolt RV400 also receives Regenerative Breaking System which helps in the breaking process.
